The Thursday Challenge... Garden

Some would say there's been more than enough talk of gardens in this blog this week, but here goes anyway.

Acer...

Mutant dragonfly in the Veronica...

and then after days of dreadfully hot weather, last night we had a rain shower.
Here's the evidence on the Heuchera Creme Brulee

Those are very nice closeups. I am still trying to figure out my camera (I have the magazines but not the desire to read them...yet). :)

Love the macro shots, wonderful. And that 'dragonfly' is fabulous!

Well, SOME might, but not I! The gardens will dormant and/or blanketed with snow soon enough, enjoy the plant life while ye may. :-)

The Acer is beautiful, I count Maples among my most favorite of trees. And having a fetish for all things dragonfly, I adore the second photo! Sweet!

I'm glad you got some needed rain! Wish things didn't get so parched this time of year.

P.S. Yay, you've got the LinkWithin feature up and running! :-)

I have a question about the Thursday Next series, and since I can't remember what post (or even which of our blogs) contains that conversation, I thought I'd send out my SOS here. You can email me if you'd rather - just click on the scary fire-breathing dragon on the left column of my blog. (That should work, in theory anyway!)
